About My Work
I am currently under contract with Palgrave McMillian on a book project—Urban Enslavement in Port Cities in British Colonial America which I believe fits the goals of this project. Moreover, I am project administrator of the Jonathan Green Maritime Cultural Center at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. This work is centered on life in African diasporic port cities and coastal communities.
