About My Work
I am a broadly trained human geographer with interests in the urban implications of historic and contemporary forms of colonization. Recently, I have been particularly concerned with debates about the implications of doing transnational comparative work on settler colonialisms. My empirical work in this vein is largely focused on North America (and especially the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota) but I am very interested in the generative possibilities of putting my own observations into conversation with other work on a series of urban sites.
